It's official!     Indiana AHPERD is now Indiana SHAPE (INSHAPE) - the Indiana Society for Health and Physical Educators.

A professional education association for teachers, administrators, researchers, coaches, college students and other professionals who are dedicated to the promotion of quality health, physical education, sport, dance, and fitness in public and private schools, colleges and universities, and community agencies throughout Indiana.

Award Nominations 2018

Nominate an outstanding teacher, educational leader, aspiring young professional, or other deserving individual.

Scholarships Applications: Jan 15

INSHAPE awards up to six (6) academic scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an Indiana college/university.

Majors of the Year

The award celebrates outstanding undergraduate students in the fields of health, physical education, recreation and dance. Faculty are encouraged to nominate outstanding students.

Walk with a Doc

A doctor gives a brief presentation and leads participants on a walk at their own pace. Healthy snacks and blood pressure checks are also standard. Over 18 locations in Indiana.

Speak Out 2018

Represent Indiana, meet with your members of Congress and network with fellow SHAPE America members in order to 'speak out' in support of school health and physical education.
