Six Young Professionals awarded $1,000 each
Each year, INSHAPE awards $1,000 academic scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an Indiana college/university. Applicants must be majoring in health, physical education, recreation, dance, or exercise science. The scholarship award is based upon: participation in collegiate activities, professional competencies, potential as a professional, grade point average, financial need, and recommendations. Scholarship funds allocated for the purpose of tuition and books for the 2018 - 2019 school year. This year, INSHAPE announces the following students as recipients of the 2018 Jean Lee / Jeff Marvin Collegiate Scholarships: - Cassidy Bruner, University of Indianapolis

- Matthew Longest, Indiana State University
- Chelsea Hersley, IUPUI
- Brooke Fullenkamp, Indiana Weselyan
Congratulations to all scholarship recipients. They will be recognized at the Hall of Fame Banquet at the State Conference on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Grand Park Sports Campus (Westfield, IN).

My dream is to become an elementary physical education teacher and coach either middle school volleyball or varsity girls golf. I love working with younger kids and want to help them enjoy being active in fun, unique ways.

After graduation, I plan on applying for physical education and health teacher jobs. I am also interesting in coaching softball at high school level. I will start looking into getting my masters in physical education.
