National Physical Education and Sport Week
National Physical Education and Sport Week (May 1-7) is the perfect time to celebrate effective PE and sport programs - and shine a spotlight on our members' individual "feats" of accomplishment. INSHAPE and SHAPE America members are the leaders, go-getters and everyday heroes whose exceptional feats inspire others to give their all to help students live their best life. We are proud to share their individual achievements and success stories! During National PE & Sport Week, and all month long, we encourage you to: 1. Download free activity ideas and lesson plans; 2. Get inspired by success stories from the profession; 3. Share #BigFeats with the world on social media; 4. Watch a national webinar on ESSA. Indiana Department of Education recognizes National PE/Sport Week at the end of Superintendent McCormick's weekly message.
