INSHAPE Conference
The research is unequivocal. The evidence is in: Health. Moves. Minds. Indiana learners depend on quality health and physical education. Now, thanks to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the definition of a well-rounded education includes Health and Physical Education (H/PE). No school will ever achieve its full academic potential without weaving H/PE into the fabric of its culture. But that won't happen without you. Perhaps no other individual in the school building touches more on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains than you! It requires you to continually find new strategies, new programs, and new techniques. It requires you to discover best practices from colleagues. It requires you to advocate for quality, standards-based curricula. It first requires you to get INSPIRED. Join us at INSPIRE '18. There is no better place in Indiana for subject-specific professional development.

Unified Physical Education
Through adapted physical education classes, students with special needs have the opportunity to safely and successfully participate in physical education, and learn fitness and wellness skills. However, for students with visual and hearing impairments, autism, or other disabilities, inclusion remains a challenge.
