PLYOGA is an equipment free format that caters to every participant through balance, agility, power and endurance work. The class format caters perfectly to physical education, lining up with key standards and trends in functional fitness. Teacher training (and certification) is a pre-conference workshop on November 4th. INSHAPE members attend at half price.

INSHAPE Grants in Action
Aaron Crawn's school is a recipient of an INSHAPE grant. He used the funding to purchase heart rate monitors. This case study explains how heart rate monitoring systems can drastically improve the quality of the Physical Education experience. It allows the student to learn how the heart works and responds to training and increases positive experiences.

Training Camp at Grand Park
If you want to check out our new home, why not make a visit to Westfield during the Indianapolis Colts Training Camp? Yes, it's their new home too. The Colts will have their first practice on Thursday, July 26. Fans will also be able to enjoy Colts City, A BBQ bash, Sunrise Yoga, Community Day, Armed Forces Day, and a joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens. Camp is free, but you will need a ticket to get in.

Teaches Fitness Skills for Life
All Tennessee schools have implemented measures that require schools to provide 90 minutes per week of physical activity time. A few districts have chosen to go well beyond the requirements creating a culture of appreciation and expectation for effective PE among students, parents and staff.
