Meet Me at Grand Park

Inspire '19: INSHAPE State Conference

Let's begin with the goal. The INSHAPE vision is clear and to the point. We are working towards . . .

A state where all children are prepared to lead healthy, physically active lives.

The health and well-being of every Indiana child depends on quality health and physical education. Now . . . thanks to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the definition of a well-rounded education includes health and physical education. Schools can only achieve full academic potential when Health and Physical Education are weaved into the fabric of school culture and climate.

That's where you come in. Perhaps you more than anyone else in the building touch on the combination of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains! Full academic potential requires you to advocate for quality, standards-based curricula. It requires you to discover and integrate best practices, new strategies, new programs, and innovative techniques. How will you lead social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives.

It requires you to get INSPIRED. Join us at Inspire '19 - November 3 - 5, 2019 at Grand Park in Westfield, IN. INSHAPE Inspire '19 is much more than a new destination. It is a whole new experience. There is no better place in Indiana for subject-specific professional development. Here's what you need to know:

  1. Download the conference brochure.
  2. Check out the 100+ sessions offering an array of PGP options and featuring a record number of state, district and national Teachers of the Year.
  3. Make your case to obtain front office approval using the justification letter.
Now is the time to register. Early bird pricing ends September 1st. Contact me if you have questions.

I look forward to seeing you at Grand Park!

Gary Lemke,
INSHAPE Executive Director
