National Speakers Announced
The 2019 INSHAPE State Conference offers a nationally recognized line-up of speakers. Over the course of the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn and grow from the best and brightest from across the country including Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Lunches In Little Chairs – Where Teachers Get Taught - Jim DeLine, Chief Encouraging Officer and district Teacher of the Year (Austin, TX), delivers an inspiring keynote sharing what he has learned about courage, resilience, love, passion, fear, hope, diversity, empathy and a sundry of little life lessons. Mr. DeLine shares how these connections changed his little corner of the world and affirmed the invaluable roles as teachers, coaches, and mentors.
Creating Your Magic - Andy Horne, National Health Teacher of the Year and Scholarly Rapper (Chicago, IL), encourages his audience to create environments that are engaging, student-centered, and meet students where they are. Hear how Andy took a risk and found a way to create magic in his own classroom.

Two Days, 100+ Options
Attending the INSHAPE State Conference is an excellent way to earn Professional Growth Plan (PGP) points towards your license renewal. It is the biggest annual opportunity for health and physical educators to hone domain-specific skills and knowledge. PGP certificates are available immediately after each session.
