New Programs for INSHAPE Members
In-school programs play a significant role raising awareness, engagement, and funds. For decades, hundreds of INSHAPE members have understood the positive impact of in-school programs. This year, INSHAPE offers two in-school, service-learning programs. Both programs, health.moves.minds. and Mini-Moves, offer fresh resources and fundraising platforms that support the causes most important to you. Offering two choices gives you the freedom to select the program that feels right for you and your school. Each program incorporates 'whole child' elements - physical, emotional, and social - with varying emphasis. Mini-Moves is an Indiana state program in partnership with the 500 Festival while health.moves.minds. is a national program in partnership with SHAPE America.
Both programs offer the option to raise funds for your school and causes. Depending on the program, you can direct funds for the purchase of equipment, professional development, local charities, the support of other Indiana schools, and 500 Festival events like the mini-mini. Regardless of the program, the four-step success plan is the same. Take the first step with us. Sign up today to get more information without having to decide on a particular program.
After you register, you will receive more information so you can decide the program that fits the needs of your students, your school, and your community. Learn more at the state conference (November 3-5, 2019; Grand Park). You will have ample opportunity to get more information and attend presentations regarding both programs. Take a minute and sign up today.
