Be a part of the largest K-12 in-school program INSHAPE has ever launched. This members-only program is a free, year-round program designed to inspire physical activity among Indiana's youth, instilling lifelong healthy habits.
Register by December 21, 2018 to receive a free program kit filled with resources to help inspire movement and ignite your students' physical, emotional, and social learning. Your kit includes:

  • FREE teaching resources as a part of the Mini-Moves Activity Accelerator
  • FREE Mini-Moves t-shirt for teacher
  • FREE Mini-Moves prizes for all participating students
  • FREE registration (1) for the 2019 OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon or 500 Festival 5K (can be used by teacher or student)
  • Exclusive opportunities to participate in 500 Festival events

Mini-Moves is a joint program between INSHAPE and the 500 Festival, a not-for-profit volunteer organization with a mission to produce life-enriching events and programs that foster a positive impact on the state of Indiana. The Catherine Wolfe Major of the Year award celebrates outstanding undergraduate students in the fields of health, physical education, recreation and dance. Majors of the Year receive free annual INSHAPE membership and a full conference registration to the INSHAPE state conference.

INSHAPE Scholarships

Apply by January 15th

Each year, INSHAPE awards up to six (6) $1,000 academic scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an Indiana college/university. The scholarships are used for tuition and books. Applicants must be majoring in health, physical education, recreation, dance, or exercise science.

Congratulations Award Winners

The Hall of Fame banquet marked the first official INSHAPE event at Grand Park. The 2018 association award winners, teachers of the year, and collegiate scholarship recipients were recognized on November 4th at the INSHAPE Hall of Fame Banquet. Congratulations to all deserving individuals who were recognized for their contributions and accomplishments.

For Students With Disabilities

Annie Perez was seeking something that would inspire and motivate students with disabilities. "Children with disabilities are often overlooked outside of the traditional school setting," Perez said. "I wanted to find an activity that would build their confidence, improve socialization, and decrease stress levels, all while achieving health and fitness goals."
