INSHAPE Leadership Conference 2020
The INSHAPE Leadership Conference is an excellent opportunity for you to participate in the development of future association programs (including the state conference), network with other professionals, enhance leadership skills, and learn more about how the organization works. Here's what you need to know: When: Friday, February 14 (7:00 p.m.) to Saturday February 15 (3:00 p.m.) Where: Cambria Hotel on the Grand Park Campus (Westfield, IN). Cost: There is no cost to attend. The cost of hotel lodging (double occupancy), materials, and meals are covered by INSHAPE. A required deposit is refunded at the conclusion of the event. Q. Why should I attend? A. The INSHAPE Leadership Conference is an excellent opportunity to: - Learn how to improve the impact health and physical education can make in your school and community.
- Discover best practices from like-minded health and physical education leaders.
- Enhance your professional learning network and leadership skills.
Q. What happens at the Leadership Conference? A. The agenda includes team building exercises so you can get to know other Indiana teachers. There will be dedicated time to share concerns and opportunities, collaborate on new ideas for the state conference, improve your advocacy skills, and hear from guest speakers. Q. I haven't been involved in INSHAPE before. A. Not a problem. This is a great time to get involved with INSHAPE. Don't worry, you will feel welcomed. You will make new friends. Before the end of the Leadership Conference, you will feel like a valued team member of like-minded educators. Space is limited. Registration is now open.
